PEACE CAMPAIGNThis is an organized course of action to mobilize people of diverse cultures, religions, genders, classes, etc in a locality e.g Local Government Areas for peace talks. It’s done in collaboration with the community leaders such as the LGA chairmen, Traditional Rulers, Market leaders and Youths leaders.
The theme of the programme is “The Significance of Peaceful Coexistence in Our Community”.
Features: Teachings, discussions, dramas, question and answer, etc. Purpose: To create an environment conducive for peace and development by building and enhancing peoples’ tolerance level.

PEACE WORKSHOP/SEMINARThe same approach as in Peace Campaign but an indoor programme. This is carried out in conjunction with individuals and organisations in places such as Events Centres, Schools, Churches, corporate organisations (factories), etc.

GROUP/PEER MEDIATIONThis is a peace promotion programme targeted at specific age groups e.g. Teens, youths etc. The essence of Group/Peer Mediation programme is to promote peace and instill conflict resolution ability in people of like minds.
Locations such as Beach, Event centers and other recreational centers are more suitable for these groups.
Attractions: Teachings, one on one discussions, dramas, games, refreshment, etc. Proposed teachings: Conflict as a Social Phenomenon and its Inevitability in a social environment; The essentialities of Dispute Resolution through ADR Mechanism; The costliest Peace is cheaper than the Cheapest WAR; Becoming A Hero of Peace; No one is made in life being an Island; You need others to succeed in life; Conflict is a product of Relationship, etc.

MEDIATION PRACTICEPeafound opens its doors to peace building by creating a platform and the necessary atmosphere for professional mediation practice, where parties to disputes will receive due assistance in the amicable resolution of their disputes by exploring the ADR techniques. The engagement of professional Conflict Resolution Practitioners (Mediators) in Peafound is a going concern. Categories of disputes to handle include all kinds of disputes other than criminal cases such as communal disputes, marital, tenancy, work related conflicts, etc.

CONCILIATION AND FORGIVENESS PLEAPeafound is promoting peace as a matter of its core function by building a bridge to eliminate face-off between parties in dispute in order to create rooms for dialogue and negotiation. Peafound also engages in forgiveness plea physically and through social media. This window is open to individuals, organisations and communities.

HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTIONSIn compliance with the basic standard of international laws and humanitarian principles, Peafound is working in conjunction with local and international organisations in peacekeeping, peacemaking, and peace building assignments..

HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCACYAs a grass root and people-oriented organization, Peafound is deeply involved in the promotion of Fundamental Human Rights as spelt out by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) of December 10, 1948.

HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCEPeafound is a humanitarian organization created to serve the people at the grassroot especially. The foundation will provide tertiary education assistance, food items, clothing, and the likes for indigent persons and communities including IDPs, and refugees. This is on the premise that only few peace-building plans work unless supported through economic development aids and humanitarian reliefs.

RAISING VOLUNTEERSOn a regular basis, volunteers will be raised and trained to support and project the vision of Peafound. They will be fully involved in peace campaign, seminars/conferences and other activities as the need arises.
The organization believes in indoctrination before engagement; therefore, all volunteers will undergo basic training on peace ethics and philosophies before engagement. They have to acquaint themselves with the values and cultures of the foundation as well as its vision and objectives.
